Marpha
Pronounced with a soft h (not marfa).
It's a older town that is still largely made of rock and mortor, not concrete (apparently because the road was built to the side of it rather than through it). Lots of tourists. And a very pretty Buddhist monastery on the hill (from where I'm taking this picture).
