Lo Manthang

We are huddled in warm clothes for breakfast. And I'm standing in the one sunny spot in the dining room.

No one in Nepal has heat, so you wear most of your clothes when indoors. Once the sun is up, it's actually warmer outside. We're also waiting for the sun to thaw the pipes so that we can do helpful things like flush toilets.

Yesterday was rather epic in terms of adventures (not the good kind, but they make good stories later). We're hoping that our day in Lo Manthang will be easier and still fun (and our guide will use the time to arrange for a new jeep to take us back to Kagbeni tomorrow).
