Buddhist monastery
In Marpha.
This is Tshering, a monk who spent about a half hour taking with us (and is on Facebook so I will friend him).
The monastery had 17 adult monks and eight boys, who are still monks but (according to Tshering) still noisy and cry sometimes.
I also thought it fascinating that there was a clock in one of the temples. Two of the boys and I had fun teaching me numbers in Nepali and telling time.
